MUSEC is a course particularly aimed at surgeons and residents of General Surgery that presents ultrasound as a decision-making tool for clinical therapy based on simple findings. MUSECis a Modular Course, consisting of half-day blocks with 2/3 hours of lectures aimed at training in real models, with case simulation, all of which preceded by e-learning. The objectives of each module: learn the technique of ultrasound oriented to look for the pathological image and practice the guided surgical decision for ultrasondfindings. A didactic method: the probe in your hand and a continuous interaction, clinically oriented, between students and tutors. In this course,MUSEC offers, in Hospital del Mar Barcelona (PSMAR), two modules: E-FAST and a Surgical Emergency. Ultrasound module that includes frequent intra-extra-abdominal pathology in Surgery guards (appendicitis, cholecystitis, hernia, diverticulitis, compressive ultrasound and aorta), which will combine interventionism in its workshop.
